Adult Counselling and Psychotherapy
In addition to working with children and youth, two of our Riverwise clinicians also offer counselling and psychotherapy services for adults. These services are designed for individuals who are seeking compassionate, evidence-based support through periods of change, stress, or uncertainty. Our clinicians work collaboratively with each client to identify goals, develop coping strategies, and support growth and well-being. You can read more about our clinicians here.
Emma Needleman’s focus is supporting adults who are:
Moving through the perinatal or postpartum period and adjusting to new roles
Facing challenges with parenting at any stage, from early childhood to launching young adults
Dr. Chantelle Quesnelle’s focus is supporting adults who are:
Navigating life transitions such as career changes, relationship shifts, or other significant adjustments
Managing stress and uncertainty in their personal or professional lives
Exploring career or vocational pathways and seeking greater clarity or fulfillment
When providing psychotherapy to adults, our approach is eclectic, and will vary depending on the presenting challenges. Our approach may draw from modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioural perspective (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Please note, we do not provide assessment services for adults at this time.
